About
Process
Hanova Studio is always striving, reviewing and evolving practices to become the most considered and considerate brand it can be
This is reflected in the fabric choices, production processes, packaging and zero waste ethos
All sweatshirts are 100% organic cotton Earth Positive, fabric sourcing now includes LENZING™ ECOVERO™ sustainable viscose options and all fabrics are STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®. It's a continually evolving journey that is far from being 100% sustainable (if that even exists) but it's a focus I continually strive to improve
Quality
The made-to-order process engages makers and wearers in a creative conversation. The garments are made through practices that facilitate empowerment, not exploitation. I want consumers to make a more considered choice when buying new and to encourage customers to curate a wardrobe of quality pieces that they will wear time and time again
Everyone's hard work - and your wallet - is honoured with a fair price, so you can be confident that you're simply paying for quality, design, and a great fit
People
Hanova Studio acknowledges the importance of fairness and working with others collaboratively and co-creatively. I only work with a local talent pool of seamstress from Brighton and pay rates set by them
I celebrate the indepdendence of thought and creativity, respect the views of others in an ever-changing fashion space. Hanova Studio values the input and feedback from customers, suppliers, industry experts, activists and seamstresses
