Handmade Sustainable Summer Kay Dress
Emma provided her height and usual dress size and left the rest up to me. I chose the seersucker cotton Kay dress as it's a cooling fabric for Summer (its bevelled properties enable this) along with Emma's Instagram grid that is hugely colourful - it had to be the rainbow check fabric. Her styling of the Kay dress from head to toe is brilliant!
The sleeve style - not a fan of cap sleeves, not everyone likes their arms out on display
The light weight fabric - she says feels amazing on
The overhead design - no zips or fiddly buttons
The pockets! - a functional piece that offers a little more than just being a pretty dress
The unboxing of the piece - as it came out, no need for ironing which means can travel well for holiday packing
The versatility to wear over the seasons - in cooler wear, layer with cardigans and swap sandals for trainers of boots to get maximum wear out of the Kay dress

Not being able to touch and feel a garment can be difficult when making a decision to purchase online, I really get it, I have the very same quandary myself. However, online made to order clothing brands/smaller indie brands will always have the time of day to answer any questions to assist in the decision making process as it's so important for us to get a garment you are going to love and get as much wear as possible out of it.
