Phew, what a week already - celebrated a milestone birthday in my household, the signs of Spring are everywhere and Boris lets us know we are days closer to post lockdown life again.
Showcasing the newbie to the collection - The Kay dress (middle name of my daughter & late Mum) I absolutely LOVE this dress, it has simple detailing, puff sleeves, deep side pockets and a raw edge, frayed hem - and no it won't unravel as it is 'sealed'. The sizing is the S, M, L type and like with the Nova Gown - easy fitting and sizing to suit how loose or close you like to wear a free-flowing silhouette. I am wearing a medium, a dress size 12 and 5ft 7 - I could fit into a small but have broad shoulders so a medium gives me more movement. This dress can be made in any of the cotton or viscose fabrics on the website.
Point also worthy of note is that you can request to have the dress made in a length of your choosing - no extra cost
This is why slow fashion is brilliant - before anything is made by a seamstress, requests can be factored into your order before the fabric is even cut as orders are only made up once an order has been placed! I do stock a couple of sizes of each style on the website in 1 or 2 fabrics, but the overall aim is not to have a surplus and potential waste. It is important not to overwhelm customers with too many choices but to give the right choices and make the process as easy to understand as possible. If in doubt - shout!
