Midi dress with pockets, made in a gingham cotton

It's official, pockets are a necessity, black and white gingham is a checked print that is easy to wear, a midi dress style is great for the warmer months and you bet, they're coming (my daughter remarked just today that a heatwave was gonna hit from the end of March to August...OK weather Oracle, I'll go with that!)

The Kay dress silhouette is fairly loose-fitting, has a short bodice, raglan puff sleeves and then gathers just above the waistline and flares out to the standard made length to mid-calf. The hem is raw-edged and has fraying but will not unravel further as it is a sealed fray. The gingham checks are 1cm squared in size so not too big, not too small. The dress can be made to your preferred length at the point of ordering 👌🏼

I am 5ft 7 and wearing a size Medium. The fastening at the back of the dress was originally made with 1 hook & eye, but my magical seamstress has now managed to make the dress an easy pop over the head - no fastenings. This dress has the full package; simplicity, style, detail and comfort 😍
